Get a confirmed tee time
Walk-in capacity and booking methods differ by course. Contact the course or a named booking provider with your date, preferred tee window, number of players and rental needs. A lower timed offer only applies under its own conditions; check the dated offers before comparing prices.

Seven checks that prevent a difficult start
The Tourism Authority of Thailand gives general golf guidance. Apply these checks to your chosen course and booking rather than assuming every club operates alike.
- Confirm whether green fee, caddie and cart are separate or bundled before payment
- Book directly with the course or through a clearly identified agent, and confirm the payment method and inclusions
- Carry the booking confirmation, prepaid voucher or receipt in an accessible form for check-in
- Check whether transfer service is available and arrange a taxi for the return trip when it is not
- Do not assume a clubhouse break after nine holes; ask whether the routing plays through and where water or refreshment stops are available
- Plan for one caddie per player and carry Thai baht for any discretionary tip
- Check the current forecast and prepare sun protection and drinking water; general Tourism Authority guidance is not a guarantee of on-course kiosk spacing

Clothes and clubs
Check the club’s dress and rental rules
Published club examples commonly ask for a collared shirt, tailored shorts or trousers and golf shoes. Denim, beachwear, gym clothing and sandals may be excluded. Requirements for women’s clothing and shoes vary, so ask your chosen club before packing.
Official rental examples checked for this guide are Phoenix Gold at ฿1,300 and Siam Country Club at ฿2,500. Reserve a set, state left- or right-handedness, and ask about stock, set makeup, price and return conditions. Shoe and umbrella rentals vary.
The back-tee yardage in a course record is a specification, not advice about which tee to play. Ask for the current scorecard and choose for your ability and hitting distance, with attention to forced carries and pace.
Getting there
Plan the return before you leave
An app ride from central Pattaya to Burapha was reported at about ฿400–450 one way in February 2026. Bolt, Grab and InDrive operate in Pattaya, but a dawn driver, golf-bag space and a return car need separate confirmation. A checked private-car source gives roughly ฿2,000–2,900 per vehicle for a return trip with waiting, for two to four golfers and bags. A society outing may organise transport as part of its own day price.

Arriving from Suvarnabhumi
Roong Reuang Coach lists a Suvarnabhumi Airport to Pattaya service. Show a ticket or booking-confirmation email; boarding generally begins about 15 minutes before the scheduled departure. One checked bag up to 20 kg plus one personal bag is listed free of charge; excess size or weight may incur a fee.

Allow time to check in, meet the caddie and warm up before play. Confirm the car home before teeing off, then settle any chosen caddie tip directly after the round.
First-round questions
Can a solo golfer book a round?
Some operators accept single-player requests, but pairing and availability vary. Siam Country Club explicitly accepts singles subject to booking; a golf society is another way to request an organised group. Confirm the tee time, pairing and transport.
What happens if it rains?
Weather, suspension, voucher and refund policies differ by course and booking provider. Ask for the applicable terms before payment; an unused or interrupted round is not automatically refundable.
